Expert support for breastfeeding and pumping success.
At Moonlight Lactation, our mission is to provide compassionate and expert support to breastfeeding families. We believe that every mother deserves access to personalized lactation care to ensure a successful breastfeeding journey. Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or doing a bit of both, we are here to help you find the best solutions for your unique situation. We meet families where they are, listen to their needs, and guide them toward their feeding and parenting goals.
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, I’m truly passionate about supporting families as they navigate their feeding journey. As a mom of two, I understand that breastfeeding can be challenging, and the right support makes all the difference in reaching your goals and feeling confident along the way.
I started my career as a NICU Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Educator, where I developed a deep love for helping families in the NICU—providing comfort and guidance when they needed it most. Over the years, I’ve worked in Pediatrics, Postpartum, and Outpatient settings, which has given me a well-rounded approach to supporting families from pregnancy through the early months of parenting. I’m committed to offering evidence-based, compassionate support at every step.
In 2018, I became a certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), so I could offer even more personalized support for families facing feeding challenges. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching families grow in confidence and meet their milestones!
When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my two daughters, my husband, and our sweet poodles. I also enjoy activities like yoga, painting, sewing, and exploring new places. These things help me stay balanced and connected, which allows me to better serve the families I work with. I’m so lucky to be part of your feeding journey!
Originally from Southern Indiana, I began my nursing career as a young mom in 2003. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in a variety of healthcare fields such as cardiac critical care, same day surgery and recovery, and lactation services. Through breastfeeding our children and after the arrival of baby number four, I was intrigued to learn how to help other mothers. I asked my Lactation Consultant, “How do I get your job?”
In 2011, I made a career change and began working as a hospital-based LC; earning my IBCLC certification in 2013. I was fortunate to be part of a lactation department with 18 IBCLC’s and 24-hour lactation care. This experience gave me a strong foundation in breastfeeding support for inpatient, outpatient, and NICU families. During this time, I provided breastfeeding support to new families in the first few days of meeting their baby. Teaching latch, positioning the baby at the breast, and educating families about the steps to establish a foundation in breastfeeding. This has brought me much joy and fulfillment.
Later in 2020, our family relocated to the Golden Isles and now call it home. I am passionate about helping families find confidence and comfort with infant feeding. I believe Breastfeeding takes support, practice, patience, and watching for progress.
During my free time, I enjoy time with my family. My husband and I are often found cheering on our teen athletes during cross country, track, or swim meets. My family also considers me the newest Georgia Bulldog fan of Southeast Georgia.

"Each visit, I felt empowered to keep going, reassured that I was capable and encouraged by her calming presence. Jessica gave me practical advice and tips, She is single-handedly the reason I was able to continue breastfeeding. Moms have so many hardships and daunting tasks already, and with Jessica, breastfeeding was one less thing I had to worry about. It doesn't come natural for every mom or every baby; having the help of an IBCLC gave me hope and success."

"Celia is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. She helped me navigate all aspects of motherhood. She was there for me through my struggles and triumphs. As a working mom of two, life can be overwhelming but Celia has always been there to listen and provide guidance. She is truly an expert in her field, and I am extremely lucky to have her in my life. She has become more like family than a lactation consultant."
- Kaitlyn, Mom of 2
"Jessica knows what she is doing and a home visit is exactly what I needed. She came to the house and literally walked me through an 8 step process to relieve breast engorgement. She was hands on in showing me and explaining the process. Nothing can quite prepare you for that first week when the “milk comes in.” It can be overwhelming and painful. Having a lactation professional come to the house was crucial and very effective. Jessica also showed me different latch positions to help prevent future breast engorgement or issues. I am so thankful for her help and service along my breastfeeding journey."
